Welcome, friends, to the last Monday of August 2016!

I apologize for this being so late. I've been slammed with homework lately, and yesterday I had a pretty bad migraine. But either way, if you need someone to teach you about Natural Increase Rate in population, just let me know.

Anyway, a majority of the nation returned to school today (I've been in school since mid-August, but whatever). This means that school supplies will go on sale soon, which means more markers for my Harry Potter coloring book!!!

Speaking of which, do you know what next weekend is?

Brochacho: labor day weeknd

Yes! But do you know what else...?

Brochacho: i think u're gonna tell us anyway

You're right, Brochacho... It's HARRY POTTER WEEKEND!!!

You: It's Harry Potter Weekend every weekend...

I personally can't wait, since I get a whole extra day off school to enjoy the magic. I've also been reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but that's a post for another day...

And now, what you've all been waiting for... the pun!

Everyone who takes geometry always seems so tired... They must be out of shape.

Good luck at school everybody!

Praying for Italy

Sending prayers to Italy. I have asked to God to be with those who are hurting from loss, to heal those who are injured, and I'm also thanking Him for those who've survived.

My heart is heavy for all of the burdens in this world today, but I do find encouragement in Psalm 10:17.

Monday Pun-Day 8/22

Well, last week was a BIG week at my house...

I turned another year older. Yep, still a teenager. I celebrated by going to open house for my new school year. Oh, the joy of it all. I also celebrated with my favorite cake, red velvet from Nothing Bundt CakesHave you heard of these, or better yet tried them? You will not be sorry. Yes, I said red velvet. And it's not even Christmas. If you really want to try it, you don't have to wait for your birthday. Momma and I like to treat ourselves to one of these when the mood strikes.

Later in the week, I actually started school. I had homework on the first day. That should be a crime punishable to the fullest extent of the law. Seriously.

And the week ended with Brochacho's last, first football game. You read that right. Brochacho graduates from high school this year. Momma is a big' ol mess, but Brochacho is h-a-p-p-y.

Brochacho: aayyyyyy. that's me next summer

First, we have to get through football season. Down here, it's still too hot to even think about football, but what choice do I have?  So today, you get a football pun.  You can thank me later. When it's cool. When it's fall. When it really is football season.

Why don't football players eat cereal for breakfast? They keep losing their bowls.

Until next time,
Your Royal Paleness (who's another year older)

Hello, friends! Long time, no see...

I'm sorry for missing last week. I had spent the previous week serving with my church all around our city, but I must have contracted some sort of illness along the way. I couldn't hear out of one ear for awhile.

You: Eww

Yes, it was a little gross but I'm feeling a lot better now. So let me tell you about my week at church!

  • We held a FREE car wash! We got to talk to and pray for a lot of people as they waited for their car to be beautified. I met a flight attendant. And yes, I did get burnt.
  • My group also visited an apartment complex with lots of international refugees. We played soccer (well, I tried) and other games with the kids. I also met a family from Nepal who practiced Hinduism. They were all very kind people!
We did a lot of other awesome things throughout the week, but those were just a few. Serving is always such a great experience, and I always look forward to it!

In other news, the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio are going on right now! I've been watching gymnastics and swimming mostly. And I don't mean to brag, but USA has the most gold medals and medals overall. Just sayin'.

America currently has 66 medals (26 of those being gold), followed by China with 44 and Great Britain with 37. Prince Harry's homeland is not far off!

School is also starting up soon (actually it's Wednesday for me), but I don't really want to talk about that. In that case, the pun will be about the Olympics because that's a lot more fun.

Why do I like cheering for Switzerland? Well, their flag is a big plus.

Go USA! But not school.

I'm away doing secret, operative work...with my church.  Visit soon for more details (but not too many), or wouldn't be a secret, now would it?

But I'll still leave you with something pun-ny to get your week started off right...

What spice is the worst at keeping secrets? Only thyme will tell.

You: Don't taco bout that here!

Sage advice.

Have a great week! Back soon...

P.S.~ Did you watch Harry Potter Weekend?!?!?
